Man United defender Diogo Dalot has issued a defence of skipper Bruno Fernandes in the wake of recent criticism.
Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot has praised captain Bruno Fernandes' leadership credentials after he was on the receiving end of criticism following Tuesday night's 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League at Old Trafford.
Despite Fernandes' poor display Dalot has backed his fellow countryman, hailing the importance of his presence inside the dressing room. "This is the third year I've been with him, I share a changing room with him, and every season we've grown, and I think with his help it's easier for us to be in the best condition on the pitch."
"And of course, I want to try and play as much as possible. I have a physical capacity that allows me to give a lot to the team and that's what I'm looking for in every game, to help in any way I can, both at club and international level."
