Dallas police arrested a woman Tuesday in connection with the sexual assault of a childKeisharene Chanell Santiago, 48, was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, police said. She was detained in the 4800 block of Haverwood Lane without incident, police said.

Police believe Santiago sexually assaulted a child about 5 p.m. Jan. 1 in the 17800 block of Campbell Road, near Preston and Frankford roads. Santiago did not appear in jail records Tuesday night, and it was unclear whether she had an attorney. No other details about the incident were made available.
