Dallas Animal Services gets it ‘clean break’ after placing more than 150 dogs last weekend

Clearing this exposed group of large dogs over the three-day period allowed DAS to introduce healthy dogs into the shelter and separate the facility into two parts to contain the virus. “The goal is that we will continue to find positive outcomes for animals on both sides, exposed and unexposed, allowing us to slowly reduce the number of animals that are being housed here that have been exposed,” she said.
