With Father’s Day is just around the corner , bringing the opportunity to celebrate the fatherly figures in your lives by treating them to a special Sunday, curated just for them.
BC Family Fishing Weekend The annual celebration of fishing that coincides with the Father’s Day weekend takes place June 16 to 18. Canadians can fish for free in both saltwater and fresh water this weekend. A Tot Run, two-kilometre stroll, 5 km walk and 10 km timed run are scheduled. The cost is $50 for those aged 13 and up. $15 for children aged eight to 12 and those below seven can participate for free.
Have breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner Take your dad out for a nice meal at any of Burnaby’s gems, such as Burnaby Mountain Restaurant, Little Billy's Steakhouse, Hart House Restaurant — there are plenty to choose from.
