The family's new baby son was their 'lucky charm'
Maximus Alexander Caple was born at Whiston Hospital on Tuesday, April 9 to proud parents Simon, 39, and Charlotte, 34. He weighed 9lb 3oz.
But the family would soon find out that Maximus would bring them even more luck. Debby said Simon is also a huge horse racing fan and spotted one horse at the Grand National which could bring them some fortune. Baby Maximus, which means "the greatest" in Latin, would prove to be a "lucky charm" as I Am Maximus won the Grand National at Aintree Racecourse. The 7-1 joint favourite triumphed by seven and a half lengths at Aintree from runner-up Delta Work, with Minella Indo third and Galvin fourth.
