Tragic Kiea McCann, 17, and Dlava Mohamed, 16, passed away after the car they were in ploughed into a tree
The dad of one of the teenage girls who died in a horror crash on their way to a school prom held her in his arms as she passed away.
The driver, a friend in his 60s who offered them a lift, was rushed to Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, where he is currently fighting for his life. An 18-year-old girl was taken to Cavan General Hospital, where she was originally described as critical but is now in a stable condition. Her mother Teresa added Kiea and Dlava had been best friends for years. She said: “She was great to everybody. It will be hard on all the young people. Hard on all the friends.”
