The coalition has been accused of diverting millions of rands towards providing luxury vehicles and VIP bodyguards to its members at an alleged cost of R28 million.
JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance in Johannesburg will be taking legal action against the ruling coalition led by the African National Congress and the Economic Freedom Fighters .
The party's Joburg caucus leader Belinda Kayser-Echeozonjoku: "The DA is taking urgent action against the PA’s coalition of corruption with the ANC and EFF. We cannot stand idly by while these looters squander public funds to fund their luxury lifestyles as Joburg crumbles. We will pursue every legal avenue available to us.”
