Earlier this year, the DA succeeded in its court challenge to have the ANC hand over its policy documents from a decade ago, when President Cyril Ramaphosa was the chairperson of the committee.
The Democratic Alliance said it would continue to fight what it calls the ANC's controversial cadre deployment policy.

Democratic Alliance June 13, 2023 DA leader John Steenhuisen said the policy was among the reasons the ANC-led government could not get a handle on youth unemployment.
"This government of 2023 still practices some form of job reservation. That means unless you're connected to some network, unless you are friends with a councillor or friends with an MP or friends with an official - and yes, even only if you're prepared to sleep with those people are you able to get a job," said Steenhuisen.
