The research highlights the growing importance of security frameworks and the rising costs of cyberattacks.

Joined by industry stakeholders and cybersecurity experts, Vodacom Business presented key findings from the report, highlighting that in an era where digital transformation is accelerating, the importance of robust cybersecurity measures cannot be overstated. The cost of these attacks on businesses in South Africa has reached R2.2 billion annually, according to the South African Banking Risk Information Centre and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research .
The report examines various aspects of cybersecurity, including the most prevalent types of cyber threats, such as ransomware, which remains the most severe threat facing organisations today.
