Cyberpunk 2077’s resurgence has now seen it clear Witcher 3’s all-time concurrent players record.
The Witcher 3’s peak count was also in response to the game’s Netflix adaptation, however, Edgerunners appears to have influenced a higher number of players to pick up the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 reached a peak concurrent player count of 1,054,388 when the game launched, but in recent months prior to the patch, the game was attracting on average around 20,000 to 30,000 players. It’s worth noting that these numbers don’t include the console versions of the game, each of which received a current generation patch earlier in the year.this week: “Thank you so much chooms for this second chance.”
