We continuously review our portions and pricing to maintain this balance. The spokesperson added:"We sincerely apologise if any member of our staff came across as rude. We take such matters very seriously and are committed to providing excellent customer service. We will address this issue internally to ensure it does not happen again.
"According to the law, we charge 9 per cent GST. The customer's subtotal bill was $3.50, and we included a 10 per cent Chinese New Year surcharge, making the total $3.85. "The 9 per cent GST was then applied, amounting to $0.35, which is accurately reflected on the receipt."Woman allegedly told to 'go other place' after asking about overpriced mutton at Tampines shopWoman says $9.21 for fried fish soup with rice from Nex not worth it, fish slices 'thin as chopstick'
