Krista McCarville and her Northern Ontario foursome went 7-1 in the round robin and is into the final four at the Scotties.Jones, seeking a record seventh overall Scotties title, went 7-1 to join the playoff picture and pushed through to the final four with a 9-4 win over Clancy Grandy of British Columbia Friday afternoon.

“It’s a crazy format, so I’m pretty happy to be in the final four,” Jones said. “That game is a crazy game to have to play, but really happy to have a chance to play on the weekend. It’s really the craziest game I think I’ve ever played in, so to win it feels really good.” The winners of games between Nova Scotia and Ontario and Manitoba and B.C. were to move on to Friday night’s “seeding finals,” while the losers were knocked out.Then for the seeding finals, two games are played, with the winners advancing to the Page playoff 1 vs. 2 game and the losers dropping to the Page playoff 3 vs. 4 game.
