Ashley Glendinning failed to show any 'insight or remorse' for her actions.
A carer from Cumbernauld has been removed from the register by the Scottish Social Services Council after a string of abusive behaviour directed towards residents. On numerous occasions in response to a resident pressing her call buzzer the carer stated that she "wouldn’t p*** on her if she was on fire”
Glendinning told another resident on August 1 that “I’m not going to help you if you don’t stop asking for help”. In the same month the carer aggressively snapped at a resident telling them , “how would you know when’s the last time you sat in here?” The organisation stated: "The behaviour was not isolated and due to the nature andcircumstances of the incidents, it is not reasonable to consider thatyou were acting in good faith.
