CSA suspends its CEO via SABCNewsOnline

The week has seen two board members resign, and at least three people have been suspended from the administration.This follows news that Standard Bank will not renew its agreement with CSA as the title sponsor of the South African National Men’s Cricket Team when it concludes on 30 April 2020.

This comes just before the beleaguered Cricket South Africa’s special board meeting on Saturday, which has been called following a week in which governance problems have been in the news. The week has seen two board members resign and at least three people have been suspended from the administration. With less than three weeks until the first test against England, and there’s no selection committee and no management team in place.
