Scottish Fire and Rescue Service colleagues from across the country joined Barry Martin's family and friends on Friday in paying tribute at his funeral service at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh

Mr Martin, the much-loved father of eight-year-old twins Oliver and Daniel, was described as a"loving and attentive" dad. As well as a guard of honour from Mr Martin's colleagues, a minute's silence was also observed by the guests.Mr Martin was given a guard of honour by colleagues from McDonald Road Community Fire Station
Mr Martin was based at McDonald Road Community Fire Station in Edinburgh and was part of the Blue Watch.
