Wantaway Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a major swap deal that could see the five-time Ballon d'Or winner return to LaLiga., Spanish giants Atletico Madrid would be willing to offer either Antoine Griezmann or Alvaro Morata in exchange for Ronaldo's services.
The report claims the ex-Real Madrid and Juventus talisman has been impressed by Atletico's interest in bringing him on board for the 2022/23 campaign despite the club's president previously stating that a deal would not be financially possible.the Red Devils, and, with the transfer window closing in two weeks' time, that process could soon be fast-tracked.
Although Morata has been linked with an exit from Atletico, it is more likely the LaLiga club would push for Griezmann to go the other way considering his struggles since his return to the Madrid-based side from Barcelona. Both players scored in Atleti's 3-0 league win over Getafe on Monday night, with Griezmann doing so after coming on in the second half.
