BC Wildfire Service crews are responding to wildfires just outside of Port Alberni that were discovered Monday morning.
On B.C.’s wildfire map, currently it is showing one wildfire just outside the municipality, but the Port Alberni Fire Department has posted they are aware of two fires that the wildfire service is responding to.
CHEK News has reached out to the Coastal Fire Centre for more information and confirmation about the number of fires. The Port Alberni Fire Department says the fires are outside of municipal boundaries and the BC Wildfire Service has command of the scene so it is not providing updates on the fire.On the B.C.
