Crews are responding to reports of a plane crash in the San Juan Islands on Friday afternoon, officials said.
Officials with the United States Coast Guard Pacific Northwest said the crash happened between Orcas Island and Johns Island before 11:45 a.m.It's not known what type of aircraft was involved in the crash. Also, it's unknown how many people were inside the plane. Station Bellingham and Air Station Port Angeles are responding with search and rescue efforts.This is a developing story, and will be updated.
