A concrete balcony on a Sea Isle condominium collapsed on Friday afternoon. Officials have not confirmed if anyone is injured.
Emergency crews are on the scene of a balcony collapse at a boardwalk condominium in Sea Isle City.
Photos posted to social media Friday afternoon show that a concrete balcony on the seventh floor of Spinnaker South, at 3500 Boardwalk, collapsed onto the balcony on the floor below. The building has been evacuated, according to reports, and efforts are being made to bring in a crane that can lift the giant concrete slab.
Officials have not confirmed reports that someone may be trapped under the collapsed balcony. A Sea Isle City spokeswoman confirmed that first responders from multiple municipalities are on scene along with county officials. They are assessing the situation.
