After a scoreless first half at Soldier Field, the Columbus Crew took a 1-0 lead into the final minutes, poised for their third straight win.
But Xherdan Shaqiri's goal in the 88th minute leveled the affair, and it looked like the Chicago Fire would end their winless streak at five games.In the third of four minutes of extra time, Lucas Zelarayan scored a goal that Crew fans won't soon forget. Gaining control of the ball just shy of midfield, Zelarayan noticed Fire keeper Spencer Richey out of position, a little too far in front of his net. Zelarayan's long-distance blast gave the visitors the late goal and a 2-1 victory.
