The Creature Commandos team lined up together
With Creature Commandos set to be the first product to come out of the DC Universe, the show's future within the franchise is already getting a promising update. As new heroes and villains are making their debut in James Gunn's DC Universe, the Creature Commandos will be the first team that fans get to see in the upcoming continuity.
Dean Lorey: Yeah, we absolutely want to do a second season. There's no particular five-season plan or anything like that. But we definitely want to do another season. You will see, at the end of the first season, some of the characters that might be part of that, and there's a lot of fun to come, I hope.
Since there have been multiple members to be part of Creature Commandos in the comics, the show can tap into new dynamics through future seasons that would naturally allow the series to keep running. Whoever they also add to the Creature Commandos TV show will also have the option to play their character in live-action DC Universe movies and TV shows, as Gunn and Peter Safran are looking to have a very connected franchise.
