The main course is displayed by Chef Edward Lee during a media preview ahead of Wednesday evening's White House State Dinner for South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife, Kim Keon Hee in the State Dining Room at the White House in Washington, US on April 24.
The meal itself will kick off with crab cakes along with cabbage, kohlrabi, fennel and cucumber slaw. A chilled yellow squash soup will round out the first course.The dessert is a deconstructed banana split with lemon bar ice cream, fresh berries, mint ginger snap cookie crumble and "Doenjang caramel".
"We hope to showcase the harmony of our cultures and our people intertwined," at the dinner, she said.
