The Union of Taxation Employees has asked the CRA for a three\u002Dyear wage increase of 20.5 per cent plus a wage adjustment of nine per cent.

Last week, the CRA lodged a complaint with the federal labour relations board, alleging the Union of Taxation Employees has been bargaining in bad faith. It has asked the board to order the union back to the bargaining table before it can authorize a strike.Article content Brière said CRA employees stepped up during the pandemic to administer the $75 billion Canada Emergency Response Benefit program, and want their efforts recognized.
