The Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train is hitting Toronto on Tuesday.

Returning for the first time since pandemic restrictions suspended in-person events, the 24th edition of the railway’s colourful program is raising donations for local food banks and will feature 168 performances across Canada and the United States.

On Tuesday at 8:15 p.m., the train will be stopping in Toronto at 750 Runnymede Rd., just south of St. Clair Ave. West. The attraction will count with performances from Albertan country artist Tenille Townes and Toronto-based indie and electronic singer-songwriter Aysanabee. Attendance is free for Tuesday’s show, like all others on the holiday train’s travels, but Canadian Pacific is urging those who drop by to bring money or non-perishable food items for donation.

“We hope the train’s bright lights and music foster celebrations across Canada and the U.S., bringing with those celebrations a reminder of our duty to help those less fortunate this holiday season,” CP president and CEO Keith Creel
