Ampath and Lancet have agreed to reduce the price of COVID-19 PCR tests.
The agreement follows a probe by the Competition Commission.The council alleged the pricing was unfairly inflated, exorbitant and unjustifiable.The commission says private pathology providers have made huge profits over the past two years.
