The Western Cape government says it has increased the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stock for hospital staff.
Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize says the number of infected health workers in the province is a concern and that private and public sector nurses and professionals are being recruited to fight the outbreak.
"In fact, up to the 28th of May, the number of infected health care workers across the country was 2,084, this is both public and private.
