Pupils are expected to go back to school on Monday after an extended school holiday.
Black said,"we should have a serious reflection of how we managed the situation, in particular, we need to see how the education system is under-resourced and understaffed... People are not given adequate access to the means they need to live flourish lives, that applies in education as well... Up till now, children have not been going to school, even when they are at school meaningful lesson is being eroded...
"We haven't managed education through the pandemic very well, and look at the structural causes why...it's the same structural causes that make people prone to want to seek reprieve through unrest because people are not being given a viable living opportunity including a viable education."
