, this is the first time they've put out a song with Swae who's one-half of a sibling group, Rae Sremmurd. "He is incredibly talented, and we love how we sound together," Chloe and Halle say.
Incidentally, the video for the song had to be reimagined, in light of social distancing. For this, they recruited creative director Andrew Makadsi, artist, and animator Bliss. In collaboration, they were able to make a Sims-like experience. "We canceled plans for the music video and the cover art shoot and shifted production and creative gears with the reality of this unprecedented pandemic," Andrew says. "In choosing to be safe we still did not want to settle for the easiest and most convenient choices. In speaking with Chloe x Halle, it was important to push ourselves in creating beautiful art. I’ve been a big fan of Ignasi’s paintings and it was the perfect moment to work together.
