Around 10% of hospitalised Covid-19 patients are either readmitted or die within 30 days after their discharge, a new Canadian study has found., outline how researchers from the University of Alberta reviewed a mammoth amount of data on all adults admitted to hospitals in Alberta and Ontario between January 2020 and September 2021. Nearly 844 000 patient records were analysed. Half of Ontario and Alberta comprise half of Canada's population.
