The year 2024 has been a whirlwind for this breakdancing powerhouse, filled with remarkable milestones and achievements that highlight her dedication and passion.Courtnaé Paul Despite the glamour, her journey hasn’t been without challenges. “This year’s been a real rollercoaster – a mix of amazing moments and tough times,” she reflects. Her approach to managing it all includes being kinder to herself, asking for help when needed, and taking things one step at a time.
Winning the AfroBreak International Championship in Accra was another significant milestone for her. “Competing in Ghana was wild! The heat and humidity were relentless, but the excitement kept us going,” she recalls.Witnessing the growth of breakdancing across Africa has been particularly inspiring for Paul. “It gives me so much hope, and I can’t wait to explore more of our continent through dance,” she says. This year’s Red Bull BC One South Africa competition also imparted valuable lessons.
