The man accused of Uyinene Mrwetyana's rape and murder made a brief appearance in the Wynberg magistrate's court where his case was postponed.
The National Prosecuting Authority briefed the media on Tuesday about the prospects of the murder trial of Uyinene Mrwetyana. Courtesy of #DSTV403, is allowed to be named and photographed after a period of anonymity.
He faces two counts of rape, one charge of murder, and one of defeating the ends of justice.The National Prosecuting Authority says the trial will begin on 15 November."We've indicated the postponement is to give the defense the opportunity to take proper instructions from the accused regarding this matter," said De Kock.
