Lutz Lamphrecht claimed that he and Eva Hedwig Horn lived as a married couple, who jointly owned and maintained their Westcliff and Montgomery Park properties.
A man who alleged he was in a 46-year relationship with a woman was denied a claim to ownership of two of her properties. The High Court dismissed an application by a man who sought to take over the estate of his long-term partner.
Horn's daughter disputed Lamphrecht's claims - and the court found he had failed to produce evidence supporting his claims. Lutz Lamphrecht alleged that he was in a 46-year relationship with the late Eva Hedwig Horn. He alleged their relationship started in 1970 and ended in July 2016, when she died.
The couple had an extramarital affair while Horn was still married, in community of property, to her husband, Horst.
