If a coalition of transit advocates and lawmakers have their way your trip on public transit could get a bit quicker and upwards of 30% cheaper.
There is one deadline the sides already agree on – implementing a no-cost transfer policy by 2024. Long said the transit system is already planning on rolling out this policy sometime next year, ahead of the timeframe proposed in the legislation.
