There could be similarities in the way former Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki started his tenure at Kaizer Chiefs to that of the renowned Pitso Mosimane at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Both mentors were previously with the South African senior national team before they assumed roles at the big guns on their return to club football.In 2012 when Mosimane started at Sundowns after parting ways with Bafana, he didn’t have the best of starts in attempting to improve the team’s results after taking over from Dutch coach Johan Neeskens.

Mosimane succeeded in bringing players who suited Downs’ style of play and started producing the results and transformed the club into a force to be reckoned with.
