Coronation Street star Colson Smith has put money on his former co-star Ellie Leach winning Strictly Come Dancing and shared why he is adamant she'll lift the Glitterball trophy this year. .
Speaking on his podcast, which has recently been rebranded to On The Sofa after previously being called Sofa Cinema Club and which he hosts with Corrie co-stars Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price, Colson shared how he cried 'happy tears' after watching her do so well before recalling the moment she told him she was doing Strictly.
But Ben, who is known for starring as Corrie's Nick Tilsely, quipped: "Good to see you kept in the positivity though... 'You're going to be awful.'" While Jack and Colson argued it was banter, Colson then added: "She gave it back to me, put me in the place and said, 'No!'" Earlier this week, Ellie and Vito left fans both confused and amazed as they gave them a glimpse into their training room antics. Ellie, who is famed for having played Faye Windass in Corrie for 12 years, will be performing a Paso Doble to 'Insomnia' by Faithless this weekend.
