Cait Fitton spoke to the ECHO in an exclusive interview at the Radio Times Soap Awards
Cait Fitton couldn't have picked a better time for her Coronation Street return to become public. Fans were convinced the soap star had exited the Cobbles for good when her character, Lauren Bolton, was presumed dead.

I always knew it would be a big thing with people not knowing where Lauren is or what's been happening. But I didn't expect this, my phone has just blown up for the last four days. The support from everyone has meant the world to me.
She added: "I really would like him to get his comeuppance by people forming a tribe, a good feminine energy tribe." Cait joined Coronation Street on an initial three month contract in a supporting role, but her powerful portrayal has established Lauren as one of the show's most popular characters.
