Coronation Street staple Sue Cleaver has celebrated in style this week as she shared a cheeky video to mark her milestone 60th birthday with fans, just days after opening up about her “scary” hospital dash.
“It's my 60th birthday today... so I'm quite excited! I go in the kitchen and all my cards are piled up to open, I open the very first one... is it a birthday card? No! It's an invitation to come and visit our new retirement village! I mean, I'm 60... jog on!” Elsewhere a number of Sue’s castmates were also quick to share their birthday wishes, with Maria Connor star Samia Longchambon writing: "Happy birthday Sue!!”Sue’s milestone birthday comes just days after she revealed on that she had been forced to undergo emergency surgery which left her needing critical treatment in intensive care.
Furious about the shameless use of her image, Sue went on to open up about her own weight loss story, as she admitted she had lost a lot of weight after deciding to go tee-total and cut alcohol from her diet last year.
