The actress took to social media with snaps of herself from her Brookside days
Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has been told she 'looks the same' now as she did 24 years ago as she took a trip down memory lane. .
She made her debut, initially as a recurring character, in 1991 before she became a leading character from 1995 and starred in the Liverpool-based programme, set around a cul de sac, until the final episode was broadcast in November 2003. In one clip, Claire could be heard saying: "So I just came out for a drive with my mum, and I’m driving to West Derby and so I decided to swing by here. Look where I am! Look at that. Brookside Close. It must be about 7 years of my life I spent driving down here."
She then seemingly got herself in a bit of a Brookside rabbit hole as she returned to her Instagram page with a snap of herself on Brookside Close when she was playing Lindsey. Following up on her previous post of her new visit, the 53-year-old said: "Back in the day…. Same spot 24 years earlier."
