Coronation Street fans are convinced newcomer Cassie Plummer is up to no good, as she becomes Ken Barlow's carer on the ITV soap
Coronation Street viewers are suspicious of Cassie Plummer's intentions on the popular ITV soap, fearing that Ken Barlow could be in danger. Recently, Cassie offered to care for Ken after he had a fall, with doctors warning him that his recovery might be slow and he would need assistance until he was back to full health.
However, Cassie was quick to step in and offer her services as a carer, which Ken initially accepted. Unbeknownst to Ken, Cassie was not a professional carer and had lied about being sent from an agency.She eventually confessed that she had no training, leading Ken to dismiss her. Cassie later revealed that Steve McDonald, Ken's son-in-law, was aware of her lack of qualifications, reports the Mirror.
However, viewers at home suspect there is more to Cassie's eagerness to assist the family. Some fans speculate that she may be after Ken's money or planning to steal items from his house.
