It’s not all sunshine and rainbows The Alahans have been a family at war in Coronation Street ever since it was revealed that Aadi was in a relationship with Courtney Vance – the wife of his dad Dev ’s former business associate. The couple have moved into a flat at the precinct together, but it’s hardly been romantic bliss as Courtney has struggled to adapt to a more basic way of life than she’s been used to.
All of this is taking its toll on poor Aadi, though, as upcoming episodes reveal that he’s struggling to keep Courtney happy. Aadi’s affair was exposed after Dev walked in on him kissing Courtney He apologises to Asha for their argument, and she invites her brother to Speed Daal. There, he opens up to her about everyday life at the precinct flat with Courtney. Unsurprisingly, Courtney – who’s been used to living in the lap of luxury – is having trouble adjusting to the poky flat.
