Summer confronts Billy about lying to Paul. Billy reluctantly reveals that Paul has decided to end his life once he's deteriorated beyond what he can bear, horrifying Summer.

A few weeks ago, Paul told Billy that he would like help with ending his life when the time comes.
She believes it’s wrong, but a stressed Billy says that he cannot decide for his husband and alludes to the assisted dying plan. Aware something else is going on, Summer presses Billy, so he confesses that when things get too far along for Paul, he wants to ‘end things on his own terms’.
