The café owner was implicated for her murder after accidentally disposing of vital evidence whilst cleaning up the flat which had been sublet to her by Roy’s bestie Evelyn Plummer . He’d also recently fired her from her job and ended up being the last person to see her alive when he called round to drop off her wages. Suspicions ran high with DS Swain, who brought him in for questioning and wondered why he’d been so willing to see her succeed in life when he barely knew her.
