The actress has recently taken a break from her role on the Cobbles
The actress, who is best known for playing Eileen Grimshaw on the cobbles, has recently taken on her "dream" job. Sue, 60, has been playing Mother Superior in the stage production of the smash hit show, Sister Act: The Musical this year.
The actress is now set to make a return to the ITV soap in July, the Mirror Online reports. In a recent interview, she said: "I’ve finished Sister Act but I’m missing everybody hugely. I had the most wonderful time doing that show – I hadn’t been on stage for 30 years. I just thought ‘I’m going to embrace this, I’m going to do it’.
Speaking to OK!, she added: "I had the most amazing time. We played to full houses everywhere and had standing ovations. I will miss everybody hugely but you’ve got to finish one thing to start the next thing."
