CORONATION Street's Simon Barlow actor Alex Bain has announced he is engaged to girlfriend Mollie Lockwood.Coronation Street star Alex Bain, right, is engaged to his girlfriend Mollie LockwoodAlex, 20, shared the news in a joint interview with Mollie, 19, and said he popped the question on a romantic date night last year but they have managed to keep their huge life news under wraps.
star Alex, who has been dating Mollie for two years, added: "I thought, ‘If I don’t do it now, I’ll keep getting more and more nervous!’ I was pretty certain she’d say yes, but I was still bricking it."
