Coronation Street has revealed Shona Platt's exit storyline on the ITV soap as Julia Goulding is set to leave the cobbles on maternity leave.
Only recently, Lily Platt was given an incredible opportunity to go to London for a six-week football training course and on Monday's episode it was decided the youngster would go. And now it has been confirmed that Shona will be leaving the cobbles to look after Lily during her incredible football opportunity in London.Taking to Instagram, the star shared a snap of her and her husband Ben carrying their newborn daughter in a car seat.Her caption read: "On Saturday our little girl arrived. We’re absolutely elated and Franklin is besotted with his little sister, Emmeline Beanie Silver. She’s perfect.
A second said: "Gorgeous name. She's going to make her mark in the world. Congratulations. Look after yourself."And a fourth person wrote: "Congratulations Julia, lovely news. Sending hugs to you and your family."
