Why is Coronation Street not on tonight – and when will the next episode air?The answer’s quite simple – Coronation Street is not on tonight as it’s been moved to make way for football.
ITV will instead be screening live coverage of the UEFA Women’s Nations League match between England and Scotland, from the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. Coverage begins at 7.30pm on ITV1, with the match due to kick off at 7.45pm – and it runs through until 10pm, ahead of the series finale of My Mum Your Dad.The match is the first for the Lionesses since their defeat against Spain at the Women’s World Cup final in Sydney in August.
