“We switched back to cross-handed about two months ago,” said Conners’ swing coach Derek Ingram. “He’s been way better inside 10 feet and making way more putts, and just a lot more confident.”
“My speed has been great, and I’ve been seeing a number of putts go in, which feels good,” Conners said.Advertisement 4We apologize, but this video has failed to load.“Both Taylor and Corey have commented to me about how this feels like playing golf at home, so they love it here,” Ingram said. “I’m very comfortable here, but we’re always rooting for each other, trying to beat each other,” Pendrith said of Conners, who was best man at his wedding, and his other fellow Canadians. “It’s always nice to see a couple of flags on the leaderboard. It’s nice to see so far.”
