Rashid Stanley allegedly published the post on the Facebook account he shares with his wife after the acquittal of the police officer who killed Eric Garner.
A Facebook post from a New York City Corrections Department captain's husband has gone viral. In the post, the man calls the NYPD"pigs" and says it's time to"shoot back."
The meme version of the post misidentifies Rashid Stanley as a corrections officer as he mocks NYPD officers for being hit with water this weekend.. In one of the videos, when police responded to reports of men shooting passersby with water guns in Harlem, the men sprayed the officers. One officer was struck with a bucket thrown by someone in the crowd.
. Thompson was charged with obstructing governmental administration, criminal mischief and criminal tampering for damaging police equipment. A grand jury refused to indict Pantaleo in 2014. However, the Garner case was in the news again on July 16, it was announced the officers involved in Garner's death will. New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has also been criticized for refusing to fire any of the officers involved in Garner's death.

Cop Hired For Posting Racist Rant On Social MediaPHOENIX—In response to comments they described as “disgusting,” “cruel,” and “a perfect fit for our organization,” Phoenix law enforcement officials confirmed Tuesday local man Rod Cleighborn had been hired as a cop for posting a racist rant on social media. “Our newly hired officer made comments on Facebook that celebrate police brutality, degrade minorities, and disparage immigrants, indicating his values are very much in line with this department’s,” said Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Tommy Thompson, adding that racist language and calls for violence against civilians will always have a place on the force. “Rest assured that as soon as we were informed of his hateful and deeply bigoted remarks, we took quick and decisive action to ensure he was offered a job.
