Fort Worth’s Las Vegas Trail neighborhood will become home to a new pediatric and adult health center operated in partnership between Cook Children’s Health Care System and JPS Health Network, the hospital systems announced Tuesday afternoon. The Las Vegas Trail Neighborhood Health Center will be a nearly 40,000-square-foot facility at the corner of Calmont Avenue and Cherry Lane in west Fort Worth. It’ll house pediatric and adult medical services, behavioral health services, a food pantry, community education space and onsite health care industry job training. The facility will also include a Fort Worth Police storefront.

Cook Children’s Health Foundation will spearhead funding for the project, according to the hospital system. The hospitals will break ground on the two-story facility this year with an expected opening in late 2025.
