BNN BLOOMBERG POLL: Are you using loyalty points more frequently now amid high inflation?
A survey by Drop conducted by Dig Insights found 62 per cent of respondents said they are redeeming loyalty points to help manage expenses.
The result is an increasingly competitive loyalty program landscape, giving Canadian consumers more options to choose from. Another loyalty program in Canada is the PC Optimum program, which can be used at stores like Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Esso gas stations.
"These programs can encourage consumers to shop more frequently at the retailer or spend more with each visit," he said.
